Meet Stacie

Hi! I'm Stacie Johnston (she/her), the founder/owner and respite worker at STARS. I'm the friendly face you'll connect with when you reach out to us, and I'll be right there to support you during our sessions.

I've spent the past 8 years working closely with neurodiverse individuals, and during that time I've also been able to offer my own unique perspective as someone who is neurodivergent. I really value taking time to learn about each person I support, and including their perspectives and interests into any service I provide. Over the last eight years, I've spent a lot of time creating tailored programs geared around building or developing new skills, creating visual guides, facilitating and presenting at conferences. I'm so looking forward to transferring these skills to the services I'll be providing you!

Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my family and playing with my dog. Cooking, reading, watching movies, and playing video games are some of my favorite hobbies. I'm looking forward to learning more about your interests, too!

Meet Megan

Hi, I’m Megan (she/her), an Empowerment Facilitator with STARS!

I bring over 10 years of experience supporting neurodiverse and disabled people of all ages. As a late-diagnosed Autistic woman myself, I’m deeply committed to providing individualized, person-centered support that honors each person’s unique needs and strengths.

I love learning how different brains work and finding ways to make environments more accessible and seamless for the people I work with. My goal is always to help others grow, learn, and succeed while maintaining their autonomy and self-direction.

Outside of work, I find joy in life’s simple comforts—a good coffee, a cozy blanket, music, and meaningful conversation with a friend. Most of all, I love spending time with my three children, who continually inspire me and remind me of the beauty in everyday moments. My passion, both personally and professionally, is people—and celebrating the many different ways our minds can think, create, and connect.
