Life Skills

Executive functioning skills lay the foundation for our life skills. Skills like time management, organization and planning ahead all help us to complete important day to day tasks. With our Life Skills supports, we focus on both the foundational skills (such as organization) as well as our client's goal(s). These skills and goals will look different for every person.

Our Life Skills sessions can be customized to suit your unique skills and goals. During your initial session with us, we will review your goals (such as finding employment) and discuss the skills you wish to improve in order to reach those goals. Each session is tailored to the individual, as everyone’s needs and objectives are different.

We understand that it can be challenging to identify areas for improvement, and setting goals may be uncomfortable. To assist with this, we can provide a visual list to help you determine which skills you would like to focus on.

Life Skills sessions can also benefit individuals looking to enhance their independence. This may involve learning how to budget effectively, plan and execute grocery shopping trips, meal preparation, and more.

To further discuss your personal goals, we offer a complimentary 30-minute consultation. If you have any specific inquiries, please complete our "contact us" form, and we will gladly assist you!
